I think of you daily, and especially on this day. I worked with your dad at Mid-State.
May peace be with you.

We all love you and miss you very much. I took care of your niece that you never got to meet. Jennifer brought her to the daycare center that I worked at, The Childrens Center. I wasn't sure if Jen even remembered me, but—wow—she did. I wanted to say something, but I couldn't find the words because I didn't want Jennifer to feel the pain all over again. Your parents and my parents, Gene and Christina Strobel, were good friends. You were always full of hope and dreams and very active, and you had a lot of love for everyone. I know you're watching over all of us. I love you and miss you. You live on in our hearts—always.
A childhood friend,
Randi Strobel (Case)

I knew Michelle back when I lived in Norwich in middle school. She actually tried out for the bowling team ... that is how I met her. She wasn't very good, but she didn't care, and we sure had fun together. Every day I cannot believe she is gone. My thoughts and prayers are with her family always!

Michele,
You are sadly missed every day by your mom, Steve, and Jennifer. All of your family misses you. You have a beautiful niece you weren't able to meet. We all know you are watching over them from above. You are thought about and prayed for so much.

I will never forget you. We were not in the same grade at Norwich but you graduated with my brother. I remember all the times I would see you and Jennifer around school and at home. You always had a smile for anyone.

Michele was sweet, funny, and nice, her smile and vibrance lit up a room. I remember she took learning seriously but always took time to smell the roses. She understood and rerspected differences. We hung out more then a few times and although we were not the best of friends I loved having her around. We ate at our cafeteria 22-7 every moring chatted over english muffins or cereal. She meant alot to me. It breaks my heart and saddens me that she is physucally not here, I do know that her spirit and smile continues to shine in the lives of those who knew her well.

Michele, You spent so much time with us as you and Jennifer were growing up. Uncle Dan and I always said you were "like our own". After moving to NY/NJ, never did you come upstate without stopping in on the way back, no matter how much time you didn't have. You were the peacemaker in the family, always looking for the best side of any situation, always finding the "pot of gold" at the end of the rainbow. I sometimes wonder why God would take you from us, when you had so much to give here; but you are a perfect angel I am sure and I often feel your presence, feel you with me. We miss you Michele and love you; we will be together someday. Love,
Aunt Eileen

Post your memorial thoughts:
Share your feelings and memories of grief and
sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories. If you knew this
person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with
us something about his/her life:
- what kind of person he/she was,
- what nice points you remember about him/her,
- what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
- what you two perhaps did together,
- what he/she meant to you,
- or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging
for other people.
This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.
Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner. We are maintaining this site with our own money and time. We try to keep the advertisements to a minimum and we try to make them as unobtrusive as possible. The revenue goes back to maintaining this site.
