Hey aunt Michelle, this is your niece, Lacy, the oldest daughter of Melissa Young. I miss you so much.... I think of you everyday... mom does too... she's still upset of losing you, we will never get over it. You're always in our heart and our thoughts! I love and miss you so much aunt Michelle... Every year on 9/11 we get the family together and we get balloons and write messages on them for you and we let them go and we stand there and watch them fly away until we can't see them no more... we take pictures and videos every year! I'm 22yrs old now :-) and have a beautiful handsome baby boy. He was born December 17th 2010.... sisters are growing up so fast. I love and miss you aunt Michelle!

Dear Michelle,
You and my dad were good friends, and I remember playing pool with you when I was still in junior high and talking with you and your girlfriend at family parties. I was at the WTC site today, and what I remembered most is your girlfriend coming to my house 9 years ago, right after 9/11, and hugging her while she cried in our kitchen. I hope that you, she, and your family have all found peace.

Kim, my heart and prayers are with you this day. I wish I'd gotten to meet Michelle, but I have an idea what a kind hearted person she must have through knowing you. Your sister Kim keeps you alive in her heart and sharing your with others.
Peace be with you, Michelle

I did not know this lady; however, I cried reading this tribute for her. My heart hurts for the family. Why is there such evil in this world? Almost 3000 people died that day. Innocent people. Michelle, I hope you are at peace now. Sweetie, I trust you are god's angel now. I also pray your family find peace.
god bless, sweetie Xxxxx

My memory is fuzzy, it's been so long, but I went to HHS with Michelle. Through Facebook I have reconnected with people who knew her as well and was told of her death on 9/11. She and I went to Fort Lauderdale the summer of our graduation. I have pictures of both our bad perms and her beautiful smile. We had so much fun that summer. I don't know if it was her first trip out of Long Island, but it was mine, and I'll never forget it. We had fake ID's we used to get in to Sunshines with. All we wanted to do was dance, and dance, and dance. She was a great dancer! I guess boys played a small part as well, but I'll keep those secrets! :-)
It saddened me greatly today to learn of her passing, but I wanted to share that I, and lots of other long lost classmates, really loved her.

Post your memorial thoughts:
Share your feelings and memories of grief and
sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories. If you knew this
person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with
us something about his/her life:
- what kind of person he/she was,
- what nice points you remember about him/her,
- what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
- what you two perhaps did together,
- what he/she meant to you,
- or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging
for other people.
This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.
Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner.
