I went to High School with Molly in Pennsylvania. She was always such a nice person. I was relatively new to the school and she was always so pleasant to me. She would smile and chat with me easily and I felt a little more accepted... being a new student there. I think of her often and pray that her family is doing well.

I actually lived across the street from the Mckenzie house until my family moved in 1996. I was only 8 when I moved but I remeber playing with Lea and Alana. I was overseas when 9/11 happen. In april 2011 I decided to find Lea and Alana I had tried before but with no luck, I decided to type both of there name for better results and never in million years would I ever believe I would find the obituary for their mother. I hardly saw Molly but I know for a fact these girls loved there mother and they would always run to the drive way to say hello to her no matter what as soon as they saw her come home. One of the things I remember the most of Molly is her smile.

Molly graduated with me at Mt. Vernon high School class of 1981. We had our 30th class reunion this past July. Molly was sadly missed by her classmates. She was always upbeat and was always smiling. She was such a sweet and kind girl. May God bless your children, family and all the other fallen heroes of 9/11

I remember Molly McKenzie today, Memorial Day 2010. She was a wonderful person who helped me accomplish my mission from 1999-2001 when I was supporting the families of the POW/MIA soldiers. Molly was friendly and kind and took time to explain things to a new staff officer. My thoughts remain with her family and fellow heroes.

I dont know who this is, but my name is Molly McKenzie, too. I grieve for her family. It must have been a terrible lost. I'm so sorry.

I lived in the Dale City area since I was a teenager in High school, '79 till about '95. I lived in the Manassas area when this happened. I'll never forget that day. I worked at a private school in Woodbridge, and we had children there whose parents worked at the Pentagon. After hearing what was happening, I drove over to my children's school, picked them up, and went back to the private school to sit and wait for parents. Right after that my daughter went to work for the Pentagon. The reason I looked up Molly today is because I just came across a bracelet that I have, and wore back then, that has her name on it. If her family would like to have it, I would be happy to send it to them. mustanggtsally (at) yahoo (dot) com

I was awakened with a huge feeling of dread on the day of the 9-11 attack. I then read the list of victims and realized that a lady with my name had perished. I have thought of her often and wish to send my condolences to the family. I, too, have two daughters as she did, and it would be awful to leave them behind. God bless this site for the memorial to help her to live on....

I never knew Molly, but I attended MVNU when it was MVNC and worked on campus one summer. I rented a room in her father's basement that summer, and I will always remember how gracious and kind her father was. I was so sorry to hear of her passing during this tragic day. My thoughts go out to the family and friends of Molly.

I have a daughter named Alana. My mother's name is Lee (close to Lea), and Molly looked like my sister. In 2001, I decided to always remember 9/11 on the personal, human level and choose Molly as someone whose family I will think of often, pray for, and think good thoughts about in the hopes they will find comfort and peace in the midst of their great loss.

I worked with Molly and her Dad during the summer of 1982 on the grounds crew at MVNU. I have positive memories of the summer and the time shared together. Family and loved ones, I am praying for you today.

Molly was one of my students. One of the most beautiful persons in spirit and in stature. I last saw her at her father's funeral. Her father was Mr Hornberger. At the funeral she expressed thanks for the statistics class I taught. That carried her into the Defense Department as far as mathematics preparation, so she said. I pray for her two daughters regularly. Molly died leaving many in mourning and many celebrating the fantastic life of Molly. Much love to all who loved Molly.

Mckenzie, a big clan. I am but one of many McKenzies to send my sympathy to Molly's family. I feel for you all.

I knew Molly in high school back in Mt. Vernon, Ohio. She had moved to Mt. Vernon at the end of her junior year, and graduated in my class of 1981. I remember her very well--she was a sweet, absolutely beautiful girl. Very friendly, a little shy at first, but she had a very warm, genuine personality. She only attended our school for a year, and I don't remember seeing her much after graduation. I do know that she came from a religious family, and that she loved the Lord. God bless you Molly. I think about you often. God bless your children too.
