This is the week Nick loved best--golf in the am, Saratoga track and great dinners in the pm--It seems like last year we were there--Hopefully, sometime in the future I will be able to go back and enjoy all of the wonderful places again. I miss you, Nick

Love, Patrice

Dear Patrice,
I know there are not words to help comfort you on your loss. It has to be the hardest thing to lose someone as much as you obviously loved your Nick. I did not know him and just stumbled upon this site after going to see the movie World Trade Center tonight. I just wanted you to know how much people still care about you and if there is anything I can do for you please let me know. My email is Ready2goru@aol.com God Bless You Patrice and may God grant you some peace and comfort today.  Cheryl in Phoenix

Today, more than usual, Nick was on my mind constantly==maybe it was the perfect day, the perfect golf, the month of August which he loved so much---we would be getting ready for Saratoga--how close he seems to me--how much I miss him every moment of every day.

Fathers' Day weekend----what a wonderful "Dad" Nick was! He was so proud of his grandsons and I can only imagine how crazy he would have been over his beautiful grandaughter!  This Fathers' Day weekend please say a prayer for Nick who loved his children and grandchildren so much.

Last night I had such a beautiful dream---I was playing golf with a smiling Nick---I couldn't hit the ball far at all and he just smiled at me and hit his drive ---so very far that it landed on the "green" which was an altar!  He just smiled a wonderful "Nick smile" and I felt his happiness---I Don't know what it means but  dreaming of his smile and happiness was wonderful.  Keep coming to me in dreams, Nick. Love, Patrice

Nick would have been so happy this week---we would have gone to the Super Bowl and Nick's favorite team, the Steelers, would have just made the week extra special!  How he would have gone "nuts" over "his team" win!!!!  His dream came true this Sunday---just wish he had been with us to enjoy it.  Wherever he is I know he is extra happy.

Happy New Year, sweet prince.  Much love, Patrice

*** Posted by Patrice Regan for Nick Massa on 2006-01-01 ***

This is the 5th New Year's Eve??!!!!  Both Nick and I hated this "phony holiday".  Usually Nick would cook something wonderful and we would watch old movies on this night---I am happy to see year 2005 over and done---but thank God and Nick for watching over me and trust 2006 will be another year to get closer to being with both.
Love, Patrice

And so this is Christmas! Soooooo hard to believe another Christmas has come and gone without Nick!  This one was a tough one.  Nick, I miss you this year just as much as the last ones.  It really is amazing how one person can influence another's life so greatly for so long. You are so missed, my love, Much love, Patrice

This was Not one of Nick's favorite times of year---how he hated all of the shopping and "BS" of this wonderful holiday. I had a wonderful dream last night--just of him smiling---Nick had the Best smile that made everyone else smile along with him.  So hard to believe this will be the 5th Christmas without him this year.
All of my love, Patrice

There is't a day that goes by that Nick is on my mind and in my heart but today especially I am reminded of our Dec trips to Sawgrass--- this is the week we would be there--- the chilly mornings that we Had to get up early to play the dreaded Stadium course, (which we never conquered---but did manage to par the island  green!); the smell of pine trees and pinecones;  the fireplaces and lovely dinners---Nick made every month---every season so special!  I sit in mmy home that I love so much---and although it is wonderful---how complete it would be if he was here!  I miss him every hour of every day.

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
