This man will always be remembered not just for the fact based on him being the "falling man" but the great man he was.
I did not know him personally but reading and watching what I've seen based on him and how they discovered who he was, I can honestly say I hope he rests in peace.

Norberto Hernandez faced death there was no way out he was sentenced but he had the choice of which how he was going to die he could've stayed in the building and burn his way to death or jump in some hope of escaping this madness -

He was a brave big hearted man and he will always remain in our memories and hearts forever, R.I.P.

Sorry I didn't do enough to protect you from the enemy.

Yesterday I saw a movie about the attack on the World Trade Center and "The Falling Man." It doesn't matter who the falling man was. I just think his picture is the most honest thing that we have about that day. Also, I think that Mr. Hernandez has a quite big heart. It doesn't matter if he jumped or not! God will bless Norberto Hernandez and all of the other victims of September 11th, 2001.

Remember our loved ones—friends and family members—as well as the military and emergency response personnel who served and who also did not survive this tragedy. I am watching "The Falling Man" as I type this, my heart breaking for Norberto's family. May the Lord bless you all and keep you safe. Never forget.

God bless you. My prayers are with you that God will continue to strengthen you.

May all those who died on 9/11 RIP and my condolences got out to all the families.

Rest in Peace, Norberto. You will always be remembered. As I sit here on the 8th anniversary of the attacks, I am still incensed by the senselessness of the events of 9-11. You were an innocent soul and your family deserved a husband and father for many years to follow. We will always remember you and your contributions to help make America great.

On one of the most tragic days since time began, we remember you, as an inspiration. Your courage, your spirit and your freedom. Your story has touched me, and millions around the world.

I just saw the story of this courageous man and saw his family and it created tears and broke my heart. I believe God took him away before he felt any pain and is with God today. May God bless him and his entire family always and forever.

Much love and many more prayers to the Hernandez family.

A horrendous, heartfelt, heroic day. May each and every soul devastated by what seemed a beautiful day live on in loving memory. May they, whoever or wherever they be, continue to live the dream.

I watched TV, and a lot of the movies are about 9/11. I also saw the picture of a man jumping out the window, and therefore I'm on this page....  :(  The tragedy of the World Trade Center happened a long, long time ago, but it is still in our heads.... After all these years, I'm still speechless.... R.I.P.

Norberto war ein starker Mensch anmutig und bewundertswert er ist der sünde entgangen zu brennen es war sicer kein selbstmord er hat versucht sich zu retten da bin ich mir sicher Ruhe In Frieden mein beileid an die familie.

[Ed. - Norberto was a strong person, charming and worthy of admiration. He escaped burning. It was surely no suicide. He tried to save himself, I'm sure. Peace in tranquility. My condolence to the family.]

Even though your loss has changed your family forever, I'd like to take the time to say that we still, and will always, remember you, Norberto and Claribel, eight years later, and the pain's still there. My love to your wife, my sister, and family. You will always be in our hearts....

I would like to say that even if Roberto did jump, that doesn't matter. It doesn't matter what you call it. I admire Roberto. If I were in that situation, I would probably do the same (although not for sure).

I'd like to tell Noberto's family that I don't believe that he committed suicide. I was shocked to hear that his family think that he did. I just watched the video, "The Falling Man," and I don't feel that he committed suicide at all. It was a matter of trying to survive the heat of the flames and smoke, so please don't think it was a suicide. NO WAY. Pray for him, and do charity in his name. Everything happens for a reason that God allows and God wills.

In Christ,
Steve

  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
