Norma was my daughter's doctor years ago when my daughter was in high school. My daughter is now 28 and has three children. My daughter is a very quiet person and had issues that she would not let come out. Norma worked with her and helped her understand growing up and growing pains.

I remember Norma as a very quiet and understanding person.
My daughter lives away now in Indiana, when I was learned that Norma was one of the victims at the Pentagon and was on the airliner that crash, I called and told my daughter.

First thing my daughter said was "I bet she was on that plane trying to calm everyone down". Norma had a very kind heart and helped my daughter. I just attended the dedication of the Pentagon Memorial this morning 9/11/08 and will return to visit the memorial with my wife Donna. God bless Norma, her family, and all of the other victims, families and friends.

I have finally gotten around to this. Norma was a wonderful, generous person who always made sure she was at her best, so that she could take care of others. I worked with her at Mount Vernon Community Mental Health Center, specifically when she was doing mental health education in the community, as a small part of her work. I could always count on a very professional and caring presentation when she said she would do something. She was a very loving and caring person and is missed.

I thank God for every remembrance of Norma. How blessed I have been to have known such a fine person. She was a very important part of my life and I loved her dearly. Norma always looked for the best in everyone and when she would find that "best" she would nurture it and help it grow. Norma was a very giving person. She always took good care of herself so that she could care for others. Not a day passes without remembering the gifts she left with all who knew her. Her loving kindness and happy spirit live in all of us. Let us all who knew her remember to use those gifts. Norma made a big difference in many people's lives including mine. Along with many others ...I loved her dearly. Blessings to her family and for all they have done to help others.

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!

9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner.
