I was watching the documentary "Heroes of the 88th floor" yesterday evening.And I was hoping and praying that frank and pablo could make it to the end.But they couldnt.And my question was WHY? Why did these two men have to save others while putting themselves into danger? Why? Because they were HEROES..they were there to help others and risk their own lives.And what did they get by doing this? A DIRECT ticket to HEAVEN.RIP Pablo..we will never forget you!

Pablo you truly are a hero among men.After watching the documentary "Heroes of the 77th floor" I was overcome with tears of joy and agony.You sacrificed your life to save others which is the most amazing thing any person can do.While you cant read these comments it must make your family so proud to see how much respect,,love and admiration total strangers have for you.You are now a Superman among the angles and saints,RIP

rest in peace pablo you are a true ordinary hero. America is so proud of you for saving so many people lives on 9/11. You are a ture hero and I hope that everybody has that heroism that you had to save more that 77 people lives.

Pablo Ortiz was a very brave man. He went up while everyone else went down to the level floor of the trade center. I am sitting at my desk today writiing a story on his couragous actions. Thank you Pablo Ortiz!

On the tenth anniversary of 9/11, (just a couple of days ago) I watched a movie on the channel TLC, called “Heroes of the 88th floor” about Pablo Ortiz and Frank de Martini. After watching it, I admire them a lot in my life.
But the first time I watched it, though, I was sad. Sad about what happened to the towers, and sad about all of the people who died in the crashes. But after a night or two, I slept on it, and realized the sacrifices that Pablo Ortiz and Frank de Martini made. All of that time that they were saving helpless people, they could have gone home to their families, and left even more people there to suffer, but even though they knew that the towers were going to collapse, they still need to help people. That shows how incredibly generous people can be… to give one life for seventy. I thank you so much for teaching him so. If I was in that position, I would probably not know what to do! I would not be that “cooled down”!
My name is Nick, I am 11 years old, and I am touched by the story of Pablo Ortiz, and Frank de Martini. During 9/11, we lived across the bay in New Jersey, and we could see the smoke billowing, and my mom was freaking out! A month after 9/11, my mom drove us up to the wreakage.
I hope that you are managing well after 9/11.

Watching the heros of the 88th floor documentary really touched me. I kept saying they were going to make it, please make it out. But the didnt and I was crushed. But god bless your family and MR. DeMartini!

I never knew you, or heard of you, but a lady on youtube was saying how you saved her life, you deserve to be remembered as a hero! RIP god bless your family!

What saddens me is that he gave his life and his wife did not appreciate it. She received money for his death that she did not deserve. He seemed like a good man who died a horrible death and left an undeserving woman a rich widow.
