I lived across the street from Paige and her brothers Michael and Patrick in Framingham, Massachusetts in the 1960's. When she was a child, she had shoulder-length black hair, a face full of freckles, and a smile that would melt an iceberg. She was always full of laughter and joy that she passed on to those around her. She was the first girl I ever noticed or had a crush on. I've never forgotten her and never will. The world lost a truly special person on that horrific day.

I was thinking about Paige today and needed to see a picture of her. We were friends as kids in Massachusetts. I last saw her when she came for a seminar in Cosa Mesa, CA. We laughed as we talked about the good old days. She was a truly bright spot in my life. It's funny how you'll be going along in your day and Paige will pop into mind.

It's been almost 9 years since you left me ... and in all that time, you have been my guiding light. I was honored to be your husband ... and I was head-over-heels in love with you for 18 years.... You were the most loving person I had ever met.... You always had the best comments to say about everyone.... I will always miss you and love you.

Dear Paige, I know you're up in heaven and I hope you're much better. So so many people miss you. My mommy says she grew up with you and that what happened in 9 11 was awful. We will never forget you. Love Kathleen's daughter

Your namesake, Eliza Paige, turned 1 on July 27th. I hope to teach her all that you taught me. Down the hatch!

My dad knew Paige. They went to high-school together. I was sad for my dad when he saw her name on the T.V. I almost wanted to cry when i knew that someone in my family had known a victim. I miss her.

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!

9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner. We are maintaining this site with our own money and time. We try to keep the advertisements to a minimum and we try to make them as unobtrusive as possible. The revenue goes back to maintaining this site.
