I just watched "The Last Hour of Flight 11" and was overwhelmed with sadness by your story and your death. My sincere condolences to Louis. What a beautiful wife you had! I'm so terribly sorry for your loss.

Dear Patricia, I read your husband's story and had to visit this page. My late wife's name was also Patricia. I am so sorry about what happened to you and your unborn... My wife was an angel on this earth and I am sure in the other as well... You will be in your husband's memory as my wife is in mine... Sep 11, 2010...Never Forgotten...

On that day in September, I knew there were people inside. I knew that lives had been lost, but I had always thought of that day as "the day the towers fell." I didn't know any of the victims, so it was hard for me to think of the people that had been lost as individuals. Recently, from television and books based on personal accounts, I have been learning about the people who were inside the towers that day. I am learning about what they endured on a personal level. I am learning about their personal lives, and the loved ones they left behind.

Patricia, you are one of those people.

Being a mother, I can imagine how you felt that day, and I wish both you and your husband had been able to hold onto that dazed feeling of surprise and wonder.

You are in my thoughts, and although I never knew you, you are in my heart.

I will never forget.

Patricia A. Massari,

I was very touched by your story. I am very sorry for what happened to you. No one deserved what happened on that day, especially not you. I'm sorry for your and your husband's loss of your first child. It's a shame that you did not get to enjoy your pregnancy, but I guess God really needed an angel ... two for that matter. You will never be forgotten. God bless you and your family.

Dear Patricia,

The film, "The Last Hour of Flight 11," allowed me to see your beautiful face and hear a little about your life from your husband. All untimely deaths are tragic, but yours was so sad. You are in my heart now and always will be. I know your family will love you everlastingly. Peace and light,

Love,
Mary Kearns (England)

Patricia,

I am so sorry this happened to you and your husband on one of the happiest days of your lives. Being a mother myself I know what kind of joy you and your husband would have experienced. I hope your husband is doing well, and I know you are in heaven with all the other angels taken that morning. God bless you and all.

Patricia and I spent our whole childhood together.  I have so many memories....from tiedying shirts to Dirty Dancing to just listening to music in her bedroom just talking.  The memories go on and on and I could write a book on everything that we did together and everything we went through.  Whenever I think of my childhood, it all starts with Patricia's house and her family...they were like an extension of ours. I have the fondest and dearest memories of growing up and spending all my days with her.  I hope everyone can experience a friendship like that which we had.  Every precious memory I will cherish forever and I will share with everyone I can to let them know what a wonderful and special person she truly is.  I will cherish evey memory and she will continue to live through everyone that she touched....Patricia..you are forever in our hearts and memory... Shannon

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
