I am so sorry about the 9/11 attack. I know that has to be rough for your family and I pray to God that he will keep you and and your family safe. I know I have never met you but you are still with God. I will pray for the families and Paul about the 9/11 horrible attack!

I knew Paul in college. He was such a kind guy and incredibly smart. Also remember his devotion to his then girlfriend (and later wife), Courtney. It was lovely to know a person with such integrity of character. He was a true and loyal friend to those who knew him.

Today I hiked on the Pacific Crest Trail near Wrightwood, California. Mile #11, of thousands that I will complete, was in memory of you. "Gone, but not forgotten" says it all.

Paul,
I never met you — as I never met any of those who died — but I want you to know that I will never forget, and the memory of you and all who lost their lives will remain in my heart forever.

You're in my thoughts all the time, and especially my memories of you at Schyler Colfax in PE, and most of all your antics in my health class.

I went to elementary, junior high, and high school with Paul. He was always nice and had a great personality. It is terribly sad to know that he was lost in the tragedy. My sincere condolences to his family for losing him.

It has been six years since this awful tragedy, and still I cannot bring myself to see news footage of the event. I read about Paul Acquaviva in the newspapers at the time of the event, and, although I did not know him, my heart goes out to his family. I have a son named Paul Acquaviva, who was about the same age as your Paul. I live in Penfield, NY, near Rochester, and I believe we are related. Once again, please accept my condolences.

I don't know you or anyone else who was lost in the attack on 9/11, but I'm trying my hardest to comment to as many people as I can, so I can show that I care and that you and everybody else will always stay in my heart. Now that I think back to that tragic event, I just want to cry my eyes out.... God only knows what you and everybody else who suffered on 9/11 went through, but I LOVE you all and you're all heroes. xxxxxxxxxxxx

It's five years later, and the pain is still there. I listened for your name today as they read each one out loud. I saw your little one on TV, now so big and growing up so fast. May God bless you and your family today and always. We will never forget.

Post your memorial thoughts:
Share your feelings and memories of grief and
sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories. If you knew this
person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with
us something about his/her life:
- what kind of person he/she was,
- what nice points you remember about him/her,
- what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
- what you two perhaps did together,
- what he/she meant to you,
- or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging
for other people.
This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.
Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner.
