Always remembering Paul, thinking of his mom Carol ... how we share losing a son.... She was there for me, and how I wanted to be with her when she lost Paul.... Carol moved back to NY, and on that day I was calling to try and reach her.... I will never forget.... Hopefully my son Bucky has met up with Paul.... Who knows? Alofas from Samoa....

I DID NOT KNOW PAUL BUT I KNOW HIS MOM AND DAD, CAROL AND STANLEY, BUT IF YOU HAVE EVER MET CAROL, YOU HAVE MET PAUL. I WILL NEVER EVER FORGET THE PHONE CALL FROM CAROL SAYING "THEY CAN'T FIND PAUL, WE'RE ON OUR WAY TO NEW YORK"
AND I JUST BROKE DOWN. IT WAS DEVASTATING. PAUL WAS EVERYTHING CAROL SAID HE WAS. BIG, HANDSOME, FUN-LOVING GUY, ALWAYS LATE. THE MANY STORIES CAROL SHARED WITH ME ABOUT HER BELOVED FAMILY MADE ME FEEL LIKE I WAS A NATIVE NEW YORKER AND PART OF THAT FAMILY. THANKS CAROL. REST IN PEACE PAUL. WE ARE ALL A LITTLE LESS WITHOUT YOU HERE TO CHEER US ON.

I did not know Paul, but he is buried next to my parents at Mount St. Mary. Every time I visit my parents, I say a prayer for his soul and that he may rest in peace.... How funny life is. As you see, my father helped build the WTC when he worked for Drier Steel in Long Island City.

Paul was a park attendant for one of my summers in Garden City. I remember so many things about him but one of the most memorable things and it showed the kind of person he was by putting others first and not himself, We always joked with him about his cars rear wing being so lose and falling off from time to time. he also was the first person to let me pitch in the park softball games and that ment so much to me. He really was a great person and ive thought about that summer everyday since 9-11

I am Paul's aunt, and I feel it needs to be told how much of a tremendous loss our world endured when it lost Paul as one of its own. Paul was one in a million, his memory still holds that honor. He was caring, giving, loving and very much "in love" with his fiance....he was loved by all who knew him, and admired and respected by his friends and associates. Paul always had a smile, a funny story, a hug to make you feel special, a glint in his eye that said he was there for you, an open heart and an open mind. Paul was special, he continues to remain special and will hold that place in our hearts and minds forever....God only takes the best. And an addendum....Paul, if you only knew..and I think you do. Keep her close, that is all that matters.

Post your memorial thoughts:
Share your feelings and memories of grief and
sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories. If you knew this
person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with
us something about his/her life:
- what kind of person he/she was,
- what nice points you remember about him/her,
- what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
- what you two perhaps did together,
- what he/she meant to you,
- or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging
for other people.
This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.
Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner. We are maintaining this site with our own money and time. We try to keep the advertisements to a minimum and we try to make them as unobtrusive as possible. The revenue goes back to maintaining this site.
Thank you for your understanding in these matters.
