Dear Carroll Family,
It's 12:01 a.m. here in Kingston, Ontario Canada. I just heard the news regarding Osama Bin Laden's death. This doesn't fix things, but sadly I feel happy. Just wanted you all to know we're thinking of you. God bless you.

Dear Carroll family,
On September 11th friends and neighbours gathered together at my place and we mourned. When everybody left at 10:00 p.m. and I was finally alone, I thought about Peter Carroll. I never met him and never will. I wondered about his family and how they would cope, and I suspected that they wouldn't for quite some time. Today is February 21, 2011. I thought about Peter Carroll today and searched the Internet and found this site. There is nothing I can say except that I'm very sorry for your loss. Rest assured knowing Pete is still with you. And know that in Kingston, Ontario, Canada there is a man who shares his name and his family's grief.

It still seems like yesterday Pete. You can't even imagine how the hurt, pain, and emotions can still stay with you after all this time. My kids no longer have their Dad around, and although I know you see them from above, your son gleams and shines in his fireman's uniform. You would be so very proud of him, and he yearns so much for you to see him and tell him so. Your daughter is beautiful, Pete. She is the proud teacher of a 2nd grade class that she's worked so hard for. She's getting married in March of 2009, and it hurts her so much knowing that you can't be there to walk her down the aisle. I know that you will be standing right next to her as Michael walks her down, and I know that you'll give us some sort of sign to let us know you were there. Although we miss you and of course wish you were here with us, we're happy that your mom and dad are with you. God will look over all you! Smile and shine over us, Pete.

It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
