Andy and I grew up together. Every time I think of him, I cannot help but smile. And then I laugh. Andy always had an ability to make people laugh, whether he knew you or not. Today, I spend my energy honoring him and what he has given to me instead of hating the people who took him away. He was a gift to anyone who knew him. I miss him dearly but know that he is watching over all of us. God bless you, Spence!

Andy was one of those guys that just made you laugh until your stomach hurt. I worked with Andy for a lot of years in NJ and just find myself thinking of him often. Here's to you, my friend. I hope this post finds his family and finds them well.... I am sure Andy is looking down on them.

Andy Spencer was a great friend of mine. I will always miss him and think about him often. Because of that day and the events that took my friend I became a firefighter in Riverside, IL. That was 8 years ago and for every call I respond to it is in his memory that I try my hardest to help others.

Spence was truly a "brother" during my college life at Phi Delta Theta—Maryland Alpha. In fact, if it weren't for him, I may never have become a Phi.

I visited the WTC Museum last week while in New York City. It was a very moving experience even after 7 1/2 years. Most of the visitors fought back tears as they relived this terrible day. I purchased a memorial cuff by randomly choosing a blue bag. Inside the bag was a cuff with Robert A. Spencer's name on it. Robert Spencer, I honor you, and I will never forget.

It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
