My husband, Jeff, worked next to Robby in Houston. So many times he came home from work and told me about what a great guy Robby is, how much fun he is and how much he enjoyed working with him. My oldest son, who was about 10 at the time would go to their office and of all the guys, he especially liked Robby because he treated him so nicely and joked around with him a lot! Our family was really saddened to know that Robby was in the Tower when it was hit. His name is a household name in our home, we think of him and talk about him often and we pray for him and his family.

Robby,
You would be beyond proud of the young man that Chance is growing up to be. Dana and your friends and family have done a remarkable job keeping you alive in their hearts, and as a result allowing Chance to know the father who was taken away too soon. He may not have you in flesh, but you have been a part of him and a presence in his life in every other way.

10 years and every time I catch I fish I still hold it up for you. All the trips and memories are still there and man did we have fun. The Tarpon under the boat in Sanibel was a Jem. Hope Chance and Dana are well and truly happy. Not a day goes by without thinking of you.... Willie

Your parents came in last week to do some picture framing here in Greenwich, CT. The Higdons, friends of your parents, came in later and glanced down at their work order, which was out on my desk. They told me the news of your departure from your body and going home to Him who purchased our eternal home. I don't consider my knowing this any accident. I've added your parents, wife, and son to my prayers. In Him always to share the good news.

Robby,
It's been so many years since we've seen each other, but I still remember and cherish all the laughter, thoughtfulness and adventures you brought into my life. I can only hope that I might have brightened your life in the same way that you did mine.
Thank you for the incredible memories and for still bringing a smile to my face ... even today.

Robbie—
Just spent a week-end with Chance, and he is so awesome. You would be beyond proud of your wonderful son ... and my grandson. The world is not the same without you, but he makes a huge difference to all of us.

Just heard that you're gone. I always thought you were invincible! Haven't seen you since 1983, but I'm sure your character and charisma never dimmed. I'll see you in a while, Robbie.

When I was a child I lived in Gauley Bridge, WV. I had a friend named Bob Noonan. I know he had relatives in the New York/Connecticut area. Bob would be around 50 years old (2007), so he would be older than the W.T.C. victim. My heart goes out to the victim's family and friends, and to all victims' families and friends of the 9-11 tragedy. I am sure that ROBERT WALKER NOONAN was a relative of my childhood friend, who was from a very nice family. Again, my heart goes out to the family.
Sincerely,
Jeff Peyton (Wichita Falls, TX)

Post your memorial thoughts:
Share your feelings and memories of grief and
sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories. If you knew this
person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with
us something about his/her life:
- what kind of person he/she was,
- what nice points you remember about him/her,
- what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
- what you two perhaps did together,
- what he/she meant to you,
- or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging
for other people.
This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.
Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner. We are maintaining this site with our own money and time. We try to keep the advertisements to a minimum and we try to make them as unobtrusive as possible. The revenue goes back to maintaining this site.
Thank you for your understanding in these matters.
