I happened to work with Sara, and I have to say that I was so impressed with her spirit. She was so fun-loving, and we had a great time kidding around. I could see why people liked working with her. I wish her family the best. I would have loved to get to know her better and share more stories.

All my love,
Rebecca

I am really thinking about Sara and her family on this day in 2007 (9/11). I graduated with Alyson, and it is really a sobering day. I hope you guys are doing well. God Bless.

Just wanting to send out my wishes to Sara's sister, Alyson, today. I went to school with Alyson, ahead of Sara. My thoughts, as always, are with Sara and the rest of the victims of this tragedy. God bless you all.

Just saw Sara's dad on television at the WTC site. That's truly an amazing story about her ring he wore, which was found at the site. My thoughts and prayers continue to go out to her family today, 09/11/07.

Honestly, I didn't even know her and, even though I have been through a few deaths, I have no idea what you have gone through. But I feel so sad for you guys and think that is a terrible way of death, but at least she died doing what she always wanted to be--being a flying attendant.

Sara and I ran track together. For a cheerleader, she was one of the fastest sprinters on our team. She was my relay partner and a friend, not to mention she kicked my butt in a couple of dashes. I remember sitting by her on the bus on the way to a track meet, and I asked her what she wanted to be when we got outta here. She said an airline attendant. I really thought, "What?" To know Sara at that time--she was in the 9th grade, made varsity relay in the 220, 440 relay, and was one of our fastest sprinters--to visualize her as a flight attendant, well, I just said, "That sounds cool." I asked her why, but I don't remember what she said. I think just something like that's what she'd always wanted to be. She was such a beautiful person inside and out. She could really light up any place with her smile. Beautiful.

Wow, I never thought anyone from all the way out here in Arkansas was involved in this event until I found my my English teacher Sara's sister.

Through a remembrance ceremony, I adopted a star with Sara's name on it today. I will pray for Sara and her friends and family, that they find comfort in the Lord.

I grew up with Sara from K - college. I attended our high school class reunion in June of 2001 and spoke with her there for the last time. She was intelligent, witty, and definitely independent! She was fun to be with and I always enjoyed discussing and debating the topics of the day with her. Sara was a good person and she will be missed by many. I will always be angry at how she was taken. Thank you, Sara, for always being my friend!

Sarah was a beautiful talented young woman.

Sara was a beautiful human being. She was an excellent
flight attendant and fun to be with. We had such great
times flying the San Francisco allnighter trips. We laughed
shared stories, dreams, and hopes for the future.
Each time I fly I think of Sara. I know she is in a beautiful place. A place full of joy and laughter.
Take care "Beacon Hiller". The "Fenway Slummer" misses you.

I never knew Sara, but when I saw her picture from the victims list I felt like I knew her my whole life.  I can never imagine what she and every other innocent victim went through.  She's a hero in itself, being a flight attendent, never knowing what could happen in the air.  I just want her and everyone else to know none of them died in vain, they died doing something they loved.

I loved Sara Low. She was a wonderful Flight Attendant for American Airlines. I always flew on American with her until her death @ 8:46 A.M. on 9-11-01 on Flight 11. I felt terrible in the weeks following her death. I will know she will be with me every time I fly as an airline attendant. Hopefully she will be with me in my heart 4 ever. Thank You.

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
