Thinking of you and your Family today..God Bless...

*** Posted by Peter Froats on 2011-09-22 ***

Today in Chatsworth, CA I went to Mass. Part of the ceremony was to take a wrist band with a name of someone who perished on that day and say a prayer. I drew Stephen Patrick Dimino. From today on I will pray for Stephen and hope that one day I will meet him in heaven. God bless him and keep him and may both God and Stephen watch over his family for all of the years ahead.

Hello, My name is Kayla and today I wrote your name, Stephen Patrick Dimino, on a small green slip. This 9-12 I will tie it onto our schools memorial wall. I am honored to be the person who ties this ribbon. Tehachapi High School sends its regards.

In a way it seems as if 9 years has passed, yet in another, as if it were yesterday.

Your family is always in our thoughts.

Thinking of You and Your Family today... God Bless..

8th Anniversary today, still in our thoughts, hearts, and prayers.

We met him only once at a band dinner for Ridge High School, but we think of him every time we walk through the park in the evenings and see the memorial.

As long as there is at least one soul who remembers, a person is never really gone.

God bless all those who have lived through this terrible tragedy and continue on without their loved ones. That's true bravery.

I barely knew him, but he'll be in my heart forever. I'll never forget my sister, my cousin, and I spent the day on a road with a flag and a banner... when we lit candles in the front yard for him -- I'll never forget those memories. We miss you, we love you, and we'll never forget you.

Sabrina and I will always miss you. Our lives have not and will not ever be the same. You will always be with us, when she marries, has her first child you will be in our thoughts. Love Nancy

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!

9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner. We are maintaining this site with our own money and time. We try to keep the advertisements to a minimum and we try to make them as unobtrusive as possible. The revenue goes back to maintaining this site.

Thank you for your understanding in these matters.
