God Blees your family, and know, we have not forgotton

I am lost for the right words, on my laptop searching for my name when I found the great and heroic name of STEVE M O  R E L L O, my namesake. I am from the tiny island nation of MALTA. We must be related somewhere, through time passed in our famous and historic name, MORELLO, now knowing that a hero, STEVE MORELLO, made it noble during the infamous act of 9/11/01. GOD BLESS YOU. GOD BLESS AMERICA.

J.M. MORELLO (Canada)

Please keep one thing in mind about today. It is just another day on the calendar. Just because a day fell on September 11th again (as it will again and again until we are all gone) does not make anything any worse than it already is. I know I live with this every day. The "anniversary" doesn't make us feel any better. Nor should it make us feel any worse. We don't need a specific day of the year to make us feel sad, We've got 365 every year.
Go easy on yourselves, and think good things. We have plenty to remember..................

Steven Patrick Morello, we miss you.

I hope time and faith will ease the pain of losing such a great person as Steve. He is the dad I wish I had. I miss him and I miss the Morello family. It is impossible to ever forget such a person. I hope justice come's to those who commited this murder. 5 years seems too long to wait. Steve has a strong family and I hope that you find strength in each other. Steve will never be forgotten. God bless you all.

It has been five years since our loved ones were murdered in the World Trade Center and I feel as if it were yesterday. I pray that everyone, everywhere will always feel the same way. It's when we forget what happened on that beautiful September morning, that horrific event that changed all American lives forever, that it will all be in vain. "WE WILL NEVER FORGET"

Sincerely, Eileen

I've spent the past couple of hours reading through the many memorial sites and when I come to my husbands name I smile.  I'm so proud that he touched so many lives during his life.  He was the guiding force in our family, and a truly beautiful one it was.  We are still a family but it is obvious that our soul is missing.  I thank God every night for the time I had with Steve Morello and although I wish that time was not halted so abruptly I consider myself a very privileged women for the time I had.  Thank you all for sharing your stories and feelings of Steve.  Thanks for remembering....We Will Never Forget

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!

9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner. We are maintaining this site with our own money and time. We try to keep the advertisements to a minimum and we try to make them as unobtrusive as possible. The revenue goes back to maintaining this site.
