Susan was a wonderful person and should be remembered. I am thankful that there is a place for her memories to lie forevermore. My face is wet with tears, but this website helps to dry them. I loved Susan like a sister.

Just looked this up, and having the same name (almost) I accidentally found this site. I lost my mother just before 9-11 and remember feeling the many hearts drop who had lost mothers, daughters, cousins, friends, sisters, fathers, and so on. I just want to thank you all for your commitment to this site and to remembering your loved ones. That was an awful day in all of our American lives, and I thank each of you for making this memorial.

Seven years ... and the pain is still there. Susan, you didn't deserve to leave us that way.

In a few days it will be time to say, 'Happy Birthday,' to my friend....

Susan is my cousin. She was an amazing person who will always live on in my life. I look up to heaven many times during the day and say, "Susan, I need your help here." She is still a big part of my life and my family's lives. Susan was a beautiful person on the inside and outside. She brought so much life into our world. Susan is in a better place, but we are still sad after all these years.

Susan is my cousin. We all miss her very much but she will never be forgotten. Her mom (Aunt Sue) had a mass this past Sunday celebrating her 50th birthday. Fr. Joe White (Our cousin who loved Susan very much) said the mass at his church in South Boston. The church was packed! Aunt Sue greeted us all at the front door thanking everyone for attending. To be honest, we would not miss being a part of celebrating Susan's life. She was always someone my brother, 2 sisters and I looked up to and we miss her very much. God Bless Doug, Lauren, Matthew, Sue, Mac, Tommy, Paul, Carolyn, Maureen, Sean, Betsy, and friends and families that share our tremendous loss.

On this the fifth anniversary of 9/11, my thoughts go to the one person I knew that was taken from us on that day on flight 11. Susan was my merchandise cordinator at Marshalls in Andover, MA. She always had a smile for everyone and I will always remember the photos of her children behind her desk. I think of her often when I fly for my current job. I pray for her family amd in her memory!

Susan was one of my bridesmaids twenty five years ago. Boy was she full of fun! Trips to Cape Cod and the Bahamas were full of laughter and just great times with wonderful memories. Her sense of style was one to envy and she made sure that it was passed onto everyone of her friends. She lived for her children and family. The gap created by her absence can never be filled.

It is unfair to her family that she was taken away so suddenly and unexpectedly. Its not right that she wasn't able to see her two beautiful children grow up and be successful. My heart goes out to her loving husband and her two wondeful children. Susan was a woman with a lot of life in her and she made people happy just being around her. I know that she is always with them in their hearts and that she is watching out for them.

Post your memorial thoughts:
Share your feelings and memories of grief and
sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories. If you knew this
person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with
us something about his/her life:
what kind of person he/she was,
what nice points you remember about him/her,
what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
what you two perhaps did together,
what he/she meant to you,
or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging
for other people.
This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.
Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner.
Thank you for your understanding in these matters.

This web site is affiliated with 24K Gold Music Shows - an oldies music showband performing in Central Florida. The members of the showband feel strongly that there were many heroes manifested during the onslaught of terror associated with 9-11, and present this site as a memorial to those whose lives were lost, and the loved ones they left behind.
24K Gold Music Shows perform primarily 50-60s Oldies, Elvis songs, DooWop, and older country music, as well as patriotic songs. All of the musicians, singers, dancers, and staff of the 24K Gold Music Shows extend their deepest sympathies to every one who lost loved ones on that terrible day.
24K Gold Music Shows performs an original song called "The Day America Cried", which is a 9-11 tribute song. In the live shows, they honor with the song not only the heroes of 9-11 but also those who are still alive: the police personnel, firefighters, emergency personnel, soldiers, and others who have served our country and kept us all safe.
Listen also to this beautiful, touching song "Love Can Build a Bridge" by 24K Gold Music Shows. Even though strictly speaking it's not a 9-11 memorial song, I still feel it is a very fitting song for the occasion!
