I'll bring flowers to your bench tomorrow in Pacific Grove. You'll never be forgotten.

Suzanne and I were best friends from first grade until sixth grade when her parents split, and she moved to Pacific Grove. We did everything together, and it took me years to get over her moving. I looked her up on Facebook tonight, just for fun, and was deeply saddened by the news that I found. It was great to know that we still had a common interest in the ocean after all these years.

I remember the first time I met Suzanne. It was at a trade show at the Georgia World Congress Center in 2000. We were standing in line waiting for our passes. We were both with Cisco Systems. I noticed she was wearing a light blue PADI Instructor shirt. This sparked the conversation because I was an instructor as well...

Over the next few weeks, I grew to appreciate Suzanne and her significant Frank as I would see them in Monterey on the weekends teaching scuba. This woman opened my eyes and changed my beliefs about people in that part of the country. See I am a southern boy and I had just moved to San Jose and was very much lost. She was genuinely warm and special.

My beliefs are she is in a warm, loving, beautiful place in the universe... My heart cracked on September 11 when this tragedy occurred. My heart broke into pieces on September 12 when I recieved the phone call from mutual friends regarding Susanne...

I know Frank was a very fortunate man to have had Susanne in his life for the time that he did. I also know I was blessed to have known such an incredibly warm and loving woman... My heart still aches for her and Frank... I will never forget...

I am still in shock of what happened 4 years ago. Your spirit will guide us to the truth.  Many people are working very hard and have come under threat trying to tell your story and the truth. Your death will not be forgotten and the oraganization repsonsible for this event will be brought to justice.

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!

9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner. We are maintaining this site with our own money and time. We try to keep the advertisements to a minimum and we try to make them as unobtrusive as possible. The revenue goes back to maintaining this site.

Thank you for your understanding in these matters.
