I miss you dearly you always made us laugh. I am honored to have shared in a happy moment of being in your wedding. I do remember the time when we all went to Great Adventure in 1985. You were a very good friend and a kind hearted person.

Im sorry to hear about Tarel. I never knew him at all. The reason I found him on here is because I am doing a report on people who have lost their lives in 911 and I came upon him. im sorry to hear about the families lost. ;(

On Sept 12th 2010 I precipitated in a memorial motorcycle ride, in Knoxville, Tennessee, to honor the victims of 9/11/2001 and their families. Every bike carried a name card with a picture of the policeman, firefighter, or other hero of that day. My card was Tarel's. I just wanted to take this opportunity to express my sorrow at his loss and to commend his bravery on that day.

On Sep 11, 2008, 343 firefighters from around the Denver, CO metro area participated in the 4th Annual Denver Metro Firefighters Stair Climb. This memorial is limited to 343, tho many more attempt to be represented, and we do it in full gear with equipment. The tallest building in Denver is the 54-story Qwest building. We start from the basement to make it 55 stories and do it twice in representation of the 110-story twin towers. This year all 343 climbing members were given a name tag and a picture of one of the 343 lost 7 years ago. I was given Tarel's name and picture. Every time I even thought about the pain, I looked down at Tarel's picture and thought about him and all the loved ones he must have left behind. This is my second year climbing, and I was incredibly proud to do it for Tarel this year. I'm a 9-year firefighter and currently the Training Engineer for the Aurora Fire Dept, which is just East of Denver. jhamam (at) auroragov (dot) org

Post your memorial thoughts:
Share your feelings and memories of grief and
sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories. If you knew this
person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with
us something about his/her life:
- what kind of person he/she was,
- what nice points you remember about him/her,
- what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
- what you two perhaps did together,
- what he/she meant to you,
- or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging
for other people.
This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.
Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner.
