Just passing to add my condolences to the Strada family.

Wish the 3 children and Ms Strade well for the future and though their courage and dignity shone through on the tv programme "children of 9/11" aired over in the UK last week.

PS.Wish little Justin the best in his battle to overcome his illness.

I never knew him but find his story moving and compelling. A group including me, did a project about him for 9-11. God bless.

A message all the way from Ireland to say I was hugely impressed with how Tommy,Kaitlyn and Justin handled themselves in the documentary.I imagine their father would be very proud of the people they have become. And the people they have become is a testament to the brave father they lost.
May he be at peace wherever he may be.

Just seen your family on "Children of 9/11". You seemed such a great man, sadly taken away from not just your children, but everyone that knew you. RIP Thomas Strada.

Dear kids,
I was your neighbor (a few houses down) in Chatham when you were little and on 9/11. Although I grieved for all your family, It broke my heart especially for you to know you had lost your father.
I did not know him well, but I often drove by your house and would see him out playing with you. It always warmed my heart and put a smile on my face. It was obvious that he loved you very much and enjoyed so much being your dad.
I hope you find comfort knowing that the love your father had for you endures, it is forever and it will never leave you.
God bless the three of you.

Hi, Mr. Strada,

I am a classmate of Kaitlyn, your daughter. Kaitlyn is such a great person that I trust very much! I am so proud of her for trying to change and being there for Justin when he needs it. I know from what I have heard from Kaitlyn that you are such a great person, and I know that you mean the world to her. Rest in peace.

Hey, daddy!

I miss you down here, and it's really hard not having you here. I chose last night to go on to public school! I'm really excited and cannot wait. My foot hurts, but I am doing well with my surgery. I really miss riding and cannot wait to go back to it. I love you so much. I cannot believe it's been almost ten years. Wow! It feels like just yesterday that god took you away from me. I love you.

You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers!

I love you, daddy. People make fun of me for not having a dad. I miss you. I need you. I don't really know how it feels to have a dad. I try to feel "right" with my soon-to-be step-dad, but it's not the same. I wish god never took you away from me. It's not right growing up without you. Kids are retarded and have no clue what they're talking about. Maybe if they lose their dad, then they would know how it feels. I love you, miss you. R.I.P., daddy.

Kaitlyn is one of the best friends I have ever had, and even though I have never met you, every single day I hear so many great things about you and all the wonderful things you did for your children. It seems like you were a great man, and I wish I had met you. You have such a lovely family. Every time I go to church, I pray for you and your wonderful family. Rest in peace.

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
