I wear a bracelet in honor of your memory. A day that will never leave my mind...today as I write this, it is the tenth year after this tragedy. I pray for your family to carry on in life.....this day will never be forgotten.

To the family and friends of Timothy A. Roy. This morning our flag waved in memory of 9-11. I ran errands all day and went this afternoon to a blood drive in our town of Tulare, California. I have given blood on many occasions but today it was my high honor to have the pint donated in the name of your beloved. This evening I watched a History channel presentation of video that was taken by New Yorkers the morning of the attack. My nine year old watched with me. She had so many questions! As the towers collapsed and she saw the people running for safety, I pointed out that the even though they faced great danger, the fireman and police were going the other direction because they wanted to help. She understood what this meant and turned and wept in my arms. "And that's why you gave blood today." Then I remembered I was given info about a website and here I am. Just know that we have not forgotten! May God hold you all in the palm of His hand and peace be upon you. And Timothy, THANK YOU. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Jn15:13

Timmy,

Happy birthday in heaven! As the years go by, I wonder what life would have had in store for you. Unfortunately, we will never know what might have been, but we do know what was. You lost your life helping others save theirs. For that you will always be remembered as a HERO. Although you are not here to celebrate your birthday, rest in peace, knowing that, because of you, others are. Happy 44th birthday (5/09/65).

As this time of year draws near, the pain of that day grows ever so strong. Hardly a day goes by that a memory of your infectious laugh doesn’t enter my thoughts like a soft whisper. You will always be remembered—and more important, loved. Until we meet again, god bless.... You are truly a hero....

Uncle Tim,

I met you back in the summer of 1992 and 1993 when I first met your brother, my father, Kenneth Roy. I will never forget the memories that were made in such a brief time of our lives (even the rainy day at Six Flags). Stacy, you and our family are always in my heart. It's been 15 years or more since then, but I treasure those days preciously. I got to meet my Uncle Tim. I wish I could have known him the way everyone else did. For what he did tells me everything that I didn't know. He was a hero to you and everyone else. I love you.  Give my love to all!

My first love, nothing mends my broken heart. Life goes on but the hole remains. Our pride and joy, our children, honor you every day because they are the most wonderful people we could have ever hoped for them to be. I turn in so many different directions hoping to fill the void that losing you has left, but after 5 years, I simply must resign myself to the fact that I will never stop loving you, missing you and wishing you were here to share in our lives. You are my "endless love". 143 24

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!

9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner. We are maintaining this site with our own money and time. We try to keep the advertisements to a minimum and we try to make them as unobtrusive as possible. The revenue goes back to maintaining this site.

Thank you for your understanding in these matters.
