I met Tim when we both worked for Cantors in Ludgate Hill in 1985. Tim was a very special person with an amazing smile :-). He will never be forgotten and will remain in my heart forever. We had some very fun times Tim! My thoughts go out to all his family who have lost an amazing son, husband, father and brother.

I had the honor of working with Tim at Cantor when I joined the 5yr gov't bond desk right out of college. He was someone who always watched out for his own and really took the time to get to know you. I remember fondly his wit and charm and how much he loved his family. Many years after I left Cantor, Tim paid me a visit in Charlotte, NC, where I reside today and it brought back some great memories... I never had the pleasure of meeting his wife, however, I have thought of Tim and his family often.  My prayers go out to Tim and the Gilbert family.

I visited this page in 2006. My thoughts and prayers are with Tim's wonderful family. His loving mother-in-law is in my life daily. God Bless Tim's family, his friends and everyone who lost a loved one. They are never forgotten. Please believe that. God Bless America. 9/11/09

I was fortunate enough to work side by side with Tim for a number of years in both Tokyo and New York. He was an absolute joy to be around. I miss you Mate!

I knew Tim from the age of 14; I am now 40. He was the Best Man at my wedding and Godfather to my eldest son, Harvey. Tim's love and loyalty to his family is something that will always remain entrenched in my head. Time does not seem to ease the feeling of loss for both Tim and Andrew. They are both greatly missed. My thoughts and love go to his family. As a mother of three boys, I can not begin to imagine the heartache and sadness Mary, their mother, must feel. Tim and Andrew are always in my thoughts, and I send my deepest sympathy to their family.

I did not know Tim, but I once met his Irish mum, Mary. How many of you realise that the name above Tim's on the Roll of Honour, Andrew Clive Gibson, is that of Tim's brother?

God Bless the Gibson family, from Suffolk, UK.

My family has known Tim's wife's family forever. They are a truly remarkable group of people. Tim's wife and children are wonderful. God bless them every day of their lives. Tim is not forgotten.

Much love,
Becky

Hello, friends and family of Tim. I went to the Trade center, what was left of it, in October 2001,  and was stunned by the size of the devastation. I choose this September to help remember our fallen ones and will be posting a tribute to Tim on my blog. 2996 others are joining our efforts. Today I honor you and the memory of Tim by praying that this should never happen again, and that God will heal your hearts, in time.

I met Tim in London in 1985 when he was hired to work with us at Cantor Fitzgerald. We had a small office in Ludgate Hill near St Paul's Cathedral. I remember once when Princess Diana passed by in a coach he gushed how beautiful she was. He was such a nice guy. Tim will always remain in my thoughts and prayers.

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!

9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner. We are maintaining this site with our own money and time. We try to keep the advertisements to a minimum and we try to make them as unobtrusive as possible. The revenue goes back to maintaining this site.
