Well, what can you say about T.W.? You can say the truth. He was one of a kind, and was truly a great human being. I met Tim at San Diego State, and he was in my life during some of the best years of my life. I wish to extend my belated condolences to his family. With sincere honor, I would like to inform them that Tim was one of a kind and truly a great human being. I will always remember you, T.W. Thank God our paths crossed.

I worked with Tim for a couple of years at Rubio's. When I think of him, as I do today, I see him smiling that broad grin of his. What a great individual he was! Michele and I still remember you, Tim, and our sympathies go out to his loved ones. The world is less without you. I am glad I knew you, Tim. R.I.P.

Although I only met Tim a few times, my parents talk about him often. He was one of my dad's best friends in high school, and the best man in their wedding. Miss you.

Thanks to all who took the time to remember my Son Timothy Ray Ward. If people could add their e-mail address that would be nice.

God Bless everyone. Love, (Tim's Mom)  Susie Ward Baker

I knew "Timmy" well although we had not spent a lot of time together after college. I never heard Tim raise his voice to another human being unless, of course, he was rooting on his team. Timmy was an intense sport fanatic, but not to the point where it consumed his entire life. His passing has inpired many of my life choices. Timmy, I miss you dearly. You were an awesome friend. -B

I have known Tim's mom for many years. She is one of the most beautiful and giving and caring individuals anyone could ever have the pleasure of knowing. Susie was a faithful volunteer in the medical wing of the Polinsky Children's Center, where she shared her love with abandoned and neglected babies, each and every week. The morning of 9-11-01, I was at work when I received a call from Miss Susie. She knew her one and only son was aboard the second plane that hit the World Trade Center. I left my office immediately to sit by her side, as she wept. It is day I will NEVER forget. My dear friend lost her only beloved son, Timothy Ray Ward. My prayers are with her every day. Tim was a wonderful young man with his entire future ahead of him. In loving memory, Jan

I knew Tim in College.  He was a very kind and sweet man. I will miss him so much.  I know that 4 years has gone by, but the sadness lingers.  Tim, I know that you are an angel watching us from above.

I don't know him, i never did. but i chose him to write about for a school report. i will get an A+ in his name because he deserves things greater than that, but this is all i can give. Thankyou Timothy.

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!

9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner. We are maintaining this site with our own money and time. We try to keep the advertisements to a minimum and we try to make them as unobtrusive as possible. The revenue goes back to maintaining this site.
