I think I speak for everyone on earth, when I say on 11th September 2001, we were all American. On that day we shared your disbelief, your sadness.
My thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by 9/11 and in particular Todd Beamer, and all the other brave men and women on United 93.
Their courage and heroism will be an everlasting inspiration to us all.
R.I.P and God bless you, from Great Britain

My name is Justine Mahi-Beamer. I was doing an article on 9 11 for my US History Class and came across Todd Beamer. I would like too know more about him

Todd Beamer is an American hero and inspiration. Today, I heard his father speak on the radio, and now I know where Todd got a large measure of his courage, inspiration, and character. The Beamers help America to know what it means to be an American. For that and for Todd's heroism, I am deeply indebted.

My prayers, condolences, and deepest sympathies are with the Beamer family.

While Todd Beamer remains in our thoughts as one of the bravest heroes of 9/11, his Father, David Beamer, continues to speak with conviction, clarity and commitment to truth. Thank you, David, for your continued dignity and integrity in sharing what we pray will reach deep in the hearts of many other fine Americans.

God Bless You and Peggy!

Todd Beamer, as well as the other heroes, represent the very brightest lights this country has ever seen and our constellation is even brighter tonight 5/2/11. Let's roll, for America and our children. May God continue to bless America!

Dear Beamer family,

To say that I am deeply sorry for your loss is an understatement. Todd represents everything great in a man. Not only did he sacrifice himself to cause failure for the terrorists and to protect his country, but he also gave today's youth someone to look up to and to try to become. If we still have people like Todd in the future, then America will never be defeated or destroyed. Even though he is not with us on earth, he is always with us. GOD BLESS.

I live in Fresno, California, and recently gave birth to my first son. We have a park named after Todd Beamer. I will take my son to the park, and I will be able to share the story of a wonderful man! R.I.P., Mr. Beamer. 

God bless this hero. If it wasn't for him, the Capitol would not exist. My thoughts and prayers are for you, Mr. Beamer. America loves you.

A real hero amongst heroes. The phrase, "let's roll," will be forever emblazoned in our hearts.

It was 9/11/01. My old company had a sales office in the WTC. I remember the first attack in 1993. Of course everyone survived that one, as it was almost a total failure. But this time it was different. So that afternoon I called a friend who still worked there.
"Did the WTC sales team survive?"
"Yes. They were all out of the office on sales calls. But did you hear about David's son?"

"David's son?" I knew David (our former president) had children, but I did not know their names — or anything about them.

Well, that was the day I learned about David Beamer's son, Todd. Now, I did not know Todd, but I knew his father. He was one of the most honest, hard-working, and fair businessmen I ever met. The apple did not fall far from the tree. I was told that David gave the eulogy for his own son. Just amazing at what the Beamer family was able to do in this horrible situation. God bless them all.

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
