R.I.P., Todd. You really are a hero. Everyone's so proud of what you did. The courage you showed was like no other. You will always be remembered.

Todd Beamer,

You are my hero! I admire so much your courage and faith in God. You inspire me to better my life every day, and I will never forget your bravery nor your sacrifice on 9/11. I know you are in heaven, and your family must be very, very proud of you. God bless you, hero.

I am really sorry for all that happened. I read the book "Let's Roll" by Lisa Beamer, Todd's wife, and after reading it, I understood much more of what happened. Todd was a true hero, along with all the other brave souls.

My husband and I flew home from a long overdue family reunion on the evening of September 10th, 2001. What happened the next morning remains seared in my mind. United Flight 93 became a plane full of heroes, and Todd Beamer and his life story that Lisa wrote about will always remain with me.

At the time I never even thought about the phrase, "We make plans, and God laughs at those plans." Now after going through breast cancer last year, I understand those words and how it relates to every one of us in one way or the other. God bless all the family members of those heroes.

May God bless you and your family. There is not a day that goes by that I do not think of your courage, and I pray for peace for your family. Your sacrifice will not be forgotten.

I was helping a friend do a research paper when I remembered Todd's story — it's stuck with me for nine years. It's just something I'll never forget. My soon-to-be husband is fighting over there, and his passion for fighting is that dreaded day. God bless the survivors, the families, and the soldiers.

My family and I recently visited Washington, D.C. and it was so impressive that it brought back a feeling of patriotism. That led me to think about September 11, 2001 and its amazing heroes, like Todd Beamer. Thank you for what you did! May God bless your family forever!

God bless this man and all the others who were on Flight 93. I find Todd to be a major hero, so much so that I am doing a speech on him for high school as my hero. Thank you, Todd, and the others on Flight 93.

It is an inspiration to me to think of and read about Todd and the other brave men and women on that flight that day. God bless you all and give peace to your families.

I remember September 11th, 2001 like it was yesterday. It impacted me greatly, although I didn't lose anyone close to me. I remember watching the news reports about the tragedy that had occurred and feeling so ... so ... helpless.... The images that it left in my memory are beyond unforgettable, and your name, Todd Beamer, will stand out in my memory FOREVER! What you did was amazing! And to your family, I wish only great things. Thank you for everything....

Today I was talking to my 15-year-old daughter about the movie, "United 93." Afterward, looking on line brought me to this site. As I set out to explain the circumstances behind, and subsequent adoption by Americans of, the phrase "Let's Roll," I broke down and sobbed. It's been eight years, but the memory of Todd Beamer has never left me. Nor the memory of any who perished that day.

I've never seen the movie. I've never been able to bring myself to do so. But my daughter, who was really too young at the time to fully understand what happened that day, has asked me to watch it with her. And I will.

God bless you, the family of this tremendous man.

Todd Beamer is a hero and a legend. I would never have had the bravery that Todd Beamer had. Even though itís been eight years since 9-11 happened, I donít think anybody will ever forget what Todd did on Flight 93 and how he gave his life to save hundreds of lives. I hope that it is going well for all the families who lost someone on 9-11. I have some strong feelings about 9-11, and I remember how I felt on that day. I felt so sorry for all the families that had someone die or hurt that day. Todd, and all those who lost their lives on that tragic day, will never be forgotten.

God bless,
Auston

Todd was a true American hero. He demonstrated how much he loved this country. He gave the gift that God gave him, his life. Todd showed that with courage and bravery, people's lives can be saved. Today we will remember Todd as a great American hero.

God bless all the families who lost a loved one in the 9/11 attack.

Todd,

I heard about your story in my history class today. My teacher told me that she knew you, and I started crying. It's so sad to hear about what happened, and what you had to go through, though I personally do not remember September 11, 2009, because I was so young. But I will pray for your family tonight, eight heart-breaking years after the tragedy.

Here's a small tribute from New Zealand:

Dear Todd,

I don't know you, but your heroism on that day touches me. I'm sure that your friends and family and those who knew you are honored to know such a great person. May you rest in peace. X

I just watched the movie about United Flight 93. You and all the rest were such heroes! It was shown on Belgian television, so you will never be forgotten in the whole world!
