I think of Mr. Beamer often ... and of course on this and every September anniversary day. For the rest of my life I will think of him and all the folks on board the flight. Let us never forget!

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family today. May Todd always be remembered for the HERO he was. May God bless you all.

Seven years ago today, you became a true hero. You will never be forgotten. I'm thinking of you today and of all the other brave souls who departed this earth on that tragic day.

A real American hero. Should there be a statue or other physical memorial to commemorate his courage and as a lesson to the future?

We pray for peace and comfort for Lisa Beamer and her children as they face another year without their beloved husband and father, Todd Beamer. Thank God for the valiant efforts of those who thwarted the terrorist route to Washington D.C. on September 11th, 2001.

I read Lisa Beamer's book, and it was really good. I want to say thanks to all of you! He was a very good person, brave as well. God bless Todd Beamer.

Todd was the definition of a true hero: He knew he was going to die but made sure that the terrorists did not meet their goals. I am so glad to know that "Let's Roll" now has a voice of its own. His wife and children (as well as all who were lucky enough to know him) will always be proud to have been a part of this man's life. I can only wish that I could have known him. I could never even fathom how Todd and the rest of the passengers would have felt and how they could have had the courage to go thru what they did. We who have survived WILL NEVER KNOW. They are examples of what the best of the best of the best are!

All the passengers of that flight should have been given the highest of honors (honors given to their survivors) by this government on the steps of the White House; a memorial erected; a day designated to honor them each year--perhaps every September 11th; and support (financial and otherwise) given to each passenger's family by this government.

To all the family members of each passenger: Our country had a win because of their courage and action. The enemy lost because of their courage and action. Each and every one was a hero and deserves to be remembered for the rest of our history in this way.

I believe that the song "Hero" by Nickelback would suffice as the song to remember each passenger by.

A truly grateful
Deborah Bender

Todd Beamer will always be my hero and live in my heart forever.

I read the book your wife wrote, and it broke my heart into a million pieces. I'm just a freshman in college, and my English teacher gave us a research assignment. Todd and Lisa's story inspired me so much that I'm writing about them and how much of a hero the whole family really was to all of us in the U.S. May God bless you and be with you. You are much loved.

I didn't know Todd Beamer, but my heart and prayers truly go out to his family and loved ones. May God continue to bless his family in this time of need.

The joys of living a wonderful life are the gifts and blessings, all those "wonderful things remembered" that are given over and over to those loved ones left behind. May we in this wonderful country never forget the families of those lost on that fateful day, 9/11/01.

May God bless you. Thank you for your courage on that day. I can't imagine how you and the other passengers got the courage to do what you did. I do believe your love and trust in the Lord got you through that horrible day. God bless all who gave their lives on that day without a thought. Rest in peace.

In Memory of Todd Beamer

God bless you.

Is there anybody who can give me the name of Todd Beamer's website? Please mail to abavia (at) hotmail (dot) de

[Ed. - I pray for all people who lost their loved ones in the WTC. Additionally, I pray for people who though their life's courage and effort were able to prevent a further disaster and thus saved many other people's lives.]

Six years have passed, and to me it seems just like yesterday that 9-11 happened. I cannot imagine the fear and anxiety going through his mind at that moment. I pray for his wife Lisa and their child. America should never forget Todd nor any who perished on that unbelievable day when the USA was changed forever. All are remembered in my prayers daily. God bless.

I reread your book tonight and once again reflected on your amazing story of faith and courage. I pray that you and your children are doing well and are happy. May God richly bless you and yours. You have made a difference for so many and remind us of God's infinite wisdom and love. Thank you for sharing your remarkable journey.

It doesn't have to be September 11 for me to remember your bravery and the passengers of Flight 193. I thank you for your courage and bravery. God bless you and your family.

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
