I sat next to you when we worked at Moore, you were a fun and loving friend. Every year I remember you on this day. Met your beautiful children and now a husband that will raise them. I still think of you and miss you very much.

My dear friend Vicki,
I come to visit you and tell you another year has passed, and still your memory lives strong in my heart as well as in the world. This year I will be dedicating to finishing my education in Berkeley, which I know you went to as well. Next year or end of this year, Vicki, I will be in South Africa. Now that I am an injured soldier, I have decided to give some of my life as a Peace Corp Volunteer.
Vicki, I thank you for having been there all those times and leaving such an image in my mind of what life is. I continue to show and dedicate my respect to you and your family, my dear friend. I know you see us from above and take care of us. Thank you for that, Vicki.
Respectfully,
Ricardo Roman

Vicky,
Its me, your friend Ricardo. For everyone that don't know me, me and Vicky worked together for years, and I know her family as well. Hasta pronto amiga, Ricardo Roman. ricardo.r.roman@us.army.mil
[Ed. - I'm here in Iraq, fighting for the cause that began that day. I know that I had to go to the interview that morning with your boss and I didn't leave. I want to tell you that I saw Jamie, Raul and Mario in church after that day. Now today I'm in Iraq, and I'm not forgetting why I'm here--because of a person who taught me to be human and never change for nothing. Thanks for everything, Vicky. Thanks a lot and always. When I'm on a mission, I think of that day and I feel strong and ready to face what god gives me. See you soon, friend.]

Rest in peace, Victoria. Although I never met you, I do know your husband Mario. He was very devastated after your departure. I know that you are watching over him and your kids from up above. God bless you and yours.

I love you so much, Aunt Victoria, and you'll never be forgotten. I'm sorry that nobody has written anything to you, but I'm sure that it's just because they have never seen this web site. I LOVE YOU FOREVER. XOXO. And God bless you.

Post your memorial thoughts:
Share your feelings and memories of grief and
sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories. If you knew this
person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with
us something about his/her life:
- what kind of person he/she was,
- what nice points you remember about him/her,
- what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
- what you two perhaps did together,
- what he/she meant to you,
- or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging
for other people.
This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.
Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner.
