Little Vinny, I am your godmother. I only knew you as a baby and a small child. I wish I knew you as an adult. Love Aunt Gloria

Though I did not know Vincent, I wanted to leave my sincere sympathy to his friends and family. Each year I watch every show possible about the terrible day. Yesterday I was watching and hear his name, a name I share with him, Cangelosi. May he rest in peace.

Vinnie used to be my neighbor. What an incredible person he was as are his parents, Vinnie and Michelle. My heart goes out to both of you. Think of you often, especially today.

Today I ran in the 9/11 Memorial Run at Lackland AFB. Everybody who ran had a victim's name pinned to their shirts. Vincent Cangelosi was the name I had pinned to my shirt, and I ran in honor of him. My prayers go out to his family and friends. God bless.

Although you are someone I was never given the opportunity to meet, your parents bring so much joy to my parents that I can only imagine what kind of a person you were and how much you were loved! Your name has the word "angel" inside so I know exactly where you are. Give your parents the strength to tell your life stories as I can imagine you were their greatest source of joy!

I met Vinnie today through the tears of his loving mother, Michelle. I never knew him, but I can see he was a shining light in his parents' and others' lives. I know he is with his family, still, and I just wish I knew him, too.

I know it's been 7 years but today is the day I read your beloved name on the news. I had a classmate who has the same name, Vincent Cangelosi, and that is why I went on this website. I very sorry about your loss, and may the Lord give you and your family all the comfort you deserve.

I thought about you today, Vin. My husband and I were watching "You've Got Mail" ... (our movie), and he will never know how my heart wrenches. I remember our days ... our months, our time. I love you. God bless.

His mother's name is Michele. I worked with her, she is a great person. I know that she lived for him. He was her life. She is a great mom. I know he was a GREAT son. Vinny was a good person who would never hurt anyone. He did not deserve this, no one did. God Bless.

Vin was probably the most charismatic person I have ever known. He was quick witted and always had a joke or funny remark. I wish things were different before he was taken from us, there are so many things I would do differently. He remains in my heart forever, he will always be the love of my life. Years can pass, but when somebody like Vinny touches your life, you are never the same.

Post your memorial thoughts:
Share your feelings and memories of grief and
sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories. If you knew this
person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with
us something about his/her life:
- what kind of person he/she was,
- what nice points you remember about him/her,
- what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
- what you two perhaps did together,
- what he/she meant to you,
- or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging
for other people.
This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.
Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!
9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner. We are maintaining this site with our own money and time. We try to keep the advertisements to a minimum and we try to make them as unobtrusive as possible. The revenue goes back to maintaining this site.
Thank you for your understanding in these matters.
