Thinking of you on this 10th year of your passing. Although I have never met you, my Husband Johnny worked with Ivy (your Mom) for 13 years at Sullivan and Cromwell, LLC of which she is no longer there understandably so. May you R.I.P. and know that our family thinks about you all the time. God Bless You in Heaven! muah The Aviles family.

Yvette I was just thinking about you today. I miss the good and bad times we had together. You, Ivy,Roland and the rest of the extended family we had up in Castle Hill were a big part of who I am. I love you rest in peace negra.

I am the vending guy who serviced the machines at Car futures, where you worked. I remember that you were always so nice and had a big smile. I remember that you loved sour doug nibblers and apple juice. God bless you.

My prayers go out to you and your family. Although we never met, I've had the privilege to meet your brother. And if you are anything like him, you are an ANGEL! May your soul rest in peace and may you guide your loved ones through their journey of life.

6 years and still its still unbelievable, what more can I say but you were a wonderful, beautiful, and intelligent woman who had great things ahead of her. Every time I see the movie "Hannibal" I shed a tear knowing that was the movie we saw together. You will be missed, loved, and always in my heart Yvette.

I still can't believe it, i'm still wanting to hear your voice on the phone... i really miss you Yvette. You were very special to anyone who ever knew you. And i will never forget the day we met, and even though i only knew you for 6 months i really got a place in my heart for you. You had that quality about you that whoever u came in contact with they just had to like you b/c you were too sweet of a person for them not to. I'll never forget when we went to the movies together to see "Hannibal" downtown and we went for a walk in the park before the movie b/c the movie started late and we had a couple of hours to go before it began, and we just went to the park together and talked. I had a great time and i just wish i could tell you how much u made me smile whenever i was around you.. i just want everyone to know that u were a beautiful person inside and out and im gonna miss your funny sense of humor ma. R.I.P. beautiful angel.......

Just thinking of you this week, I did not know you personally but I work in the same office as your Mom... I always think of you and say a little prayer for you because I have a daughter a couple of years younger than you and my heart is heavy because it's something no one wants to experience.  I know you have wings now so have a great time and remember you touched many lives.  God Bless you.... From my family to your family.

I think of you every day. I miss you.  I feel you when i'm lonely, so I know your you keep me company. i feel you when i'm happy so I know you still somehow enjoy life with me. i hear you laughing, so nothing changed. you liked to make fun of me, but that is ok because to show you how much nothing change, i still look through your stuff when I think you are not looking. that is what little sisters are for. i love you.  I know it took awhile for me to write. i don't know how Ivy does it.  It's still too hard.  i want to hear your voice. I want a hug.  I want hear "O Chrissy" when I do something strange.  I just wanna.....
I love you.

Post your memorial thoughts:

Share your feelings and memories of grief and sadness concerning the 9-11-2001 attack, or of positive memories.  If you knew this person, help us to build a small 'bio' of the person and share with us something about his/her life:

  • what kind of person he/she was,
  • what nice points you remember about him/her,
  • what kind of relationship you had with him/her,
  • what you two perhaps did together,
  • what he/she meant to you,
  • or other things about him/her might be especially encouraging for other people.

This web site is intended solely as a means of allowing all of us to express our grief and sympathy in behalf of the people who lost their lives, and also our love and compassion towards those who lost loved ones and friends in the 9/11/01 tragedy. The site is strictly for memorial mentions of those who passed away in the tragedy, not of other people who have passed away.

Our hearts are very touched with concern in behalf of those people, and it is to them that we dedicate this web site. It is not our intent to venture into the realms of WHO should face judgement, to take responsibility for those terrible events, because we have no way of knowing for sure who all might fall into that category. Therefore, any letters or notes written passing judgment upon any person or group will not be published on this site. We do NOT want this site to be a base for expressions of hatred, but only for expressions of LOVE!

9-11Heroes.us is a personal effort, not a business, nor is the site dedicated to any specific person or persons. We will not post negative comments. Moreover, 9-11Heroes.us reserves the right to choose which comments to post and also to edit the comments for spelling, punctuation, grammar, or edit comments that are unkind or offensive in some manner.
